“Flim Flam, Bim Bam, Ole Miss, by damn!” Much of the famous Ole Miss cheer, including “Hotty Toddy” doesn’t mean much of anything, technically speaking. Even the origin of the now-universal slogan “Hotty Toddy” is murky; it might refer to a hot toddy (like the drink) or the Virginia Tech Regimental Band, the Highty Tighties. Either way, we’re certain “Ole Miss, by damn!” is about as clear as you can be about who you’re rooting for.
